Loan applications can be complex and take up to 6 weeks, so the sooner the better. Never wait more than five days after contract. After the contract is signed, can I make changes to my new home? Of course! Our job is to listen to you, and deliver just the custom home you want. However if possible, you should notify us of changes prior to your contract signing. This will allow us the ability to deliver your changes correctly and on time. Can I hire my own home inspector prior to moving in? Certainly! We want you to be happy and confident. Just be sure to schedule the inspection with our office prior to your final walk-through. Once I move in, how do I know how things work, etc.? Breeze Builders provides you with a Homeowner's Manual that should answer all of your questions. This reference book will give you warranties, reference numbers, and more. Do you have any helpful advice about closing? Of course! We're always here to help! To begin with, Breeze Builders stands behind their product. You must have your new mortgage secure at time of closing. Don't schedule your movers on the same day as closing. Sometimes there can be delays and until the actual transaction takes place, you cannot move personal items into the home. This is because of liability and insurance requirements. Do arrive at your closing 20 minutes ahead of schedule to start paperwork. You should plan on the whole closing procedure to take about an hour. Lastly, do bring a cashier's check with you.
